Greetings Ashland Residents,
On behalf of the Ashland City Board of Education, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Ashland City Schools!
I wish each of our families an educationally fulfilling year!! We are working hard to provide the best experience in academics, the arts and athletics, possible for our students this year. We believe that our students need to have a plan for what they are going to do after high school. That process begins early and is a partnership between school and home. We understand that the foundation for learning begins at home and we appreciate your support. As the year progresses we will use our website to keep you updated on any important information, as well as, sharing our successes!!
Our staff will spend time this year preparing our students for the 21st Century. We will be speaking to your children during the middle school and high school years about life after high school. I believe that life begins after high school and when I spoke with the staff members they agreed that we need to continue to prepare our children for the 21st Century workforce and focus on their future educational needs. We are committed to helping our students plan for a career in the trades, military or continuing their education at a post-secondary institution. By discussing these three options, it will help our students understand how fast high school ends and life begins. We truly want each student to have a chance to make their personal and professional dreams come true!!
