DESCRIPTION:Bloodborne Pathogens\n\nPresented by Donna Robles\, R.N UH/Samaritan Medical Center \n\n	What are Bloodborne Pathogens? Why are they harmful? How can I protect myself & my employees? What is our exposure control plan?\n	NOTE: Donna will be teaching the AHA Heartsaver Blood Borne Pathogen program. She will use the AHA approved courseware and provide each participant with a card indicating they have completed Part 1 of blood borne pathogen training. \n\n\n\nPart 2 consists of site-specific training that needs done in accordance with their employers Exposure Control Plan. To meet OSHA requirements both parts must be completed.\n\n \n\n*** PLEASE BRING a copy of YOUR organizations exposure control plan to reference during the training. BUT NOTE: this will not mean\, however\, that they get credit for Part 2. Part 2 training needs to be done at the work-site. Please come prepared to schedule your Part 2 training!
