Lincoln Park Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting
🎉 You’re Invited: Lincoln Park Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting! 🎉
Something exciting is happening in Ashland!
Join us as we celebrate the Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting of Lincoln Park Playground & Dog Park — a brand-new community gathering space at the former Lincoln Street School site.
📅 Tuesday, October 20th
⏰ 5:00 PM
📍 Corner of Troy Road & W. 11th Street, Ashland
Once a vacant green space, this historic location is being transformed into a vibrant, multi-generational destination designed for families, youth, pet owners, and the entire Ashland community.
Thanks to a strong public-private partnership between the City of Ashland and the Rotary Club of Ashland, through the Rotary Service Foundation, Lincoln Park will offer something for everyone:
🐕 Dog Park — Separate, secure areas for large and small dogs, complete with agility equipment.
🏀 Full Basketball Court — Made possible through a generous commitment from the Norma Foundation.
🛝 Playground & Pavilion — Featuring $150,000 in playground equipment secured by the City, plus a covered pavilion for community gatherings.
🌳 Shade & Seating — Weather-resistant benches and picnic tables, along with 8 Honey Locust trees providing natural shade.
This is more than a new park — it’s a new place for Ashland to gather, play, connect, and grow together.
❤️ Bring your family, bring your friends, and help us celebrate this exciting new addition to our community!
We’ll see you at Lincoln Park on October 20th at 5 PM! 🎉
