About Us

Our benevolent organization was founded on the principles of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity. Our charitable service helps build stronger communities with more than 700,000 members nationwide. The Elks sponsor activities that more than 6 million youths participate in each year. Sponsoring things like Hoop-Shoot, Soccer-Shoot and the Drug Awareness program.
We are committed to the mission, ''So long as there are Veterans, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will never forget them.'' The Elks National Veterans Service Commission fulfills that pledge.
The Elks work diligently to meet the needs of the community, whether that's funding food banks, Veterans services, Nursing homes, county and city parks and recreational facilities.
The Elks National Foundation, the charitable arm of the Elks, disburses nearly $40 million annually. The Foundation helps Elks build stronger communities through programs that support youth, meet the needs of today's veterans, and fund projects that improve quality of life in areas where Elks live and work.
