About Us
The Ashland County Planning Department is under the authority of the Ashland County Commissioners, and is the office responsible for reviewing and approving all lot splits being up to and including twenty (20) acres in the unincorporated parts of Ashland County. The set of rules we follow to do this is known as the Subdivision Regulations of Ashland County (Ashland County Engineering Code). These rules were originally adopted by the Ashland County Commissioners in 1995 and amended and adopted in January 14, 2010 and effective as of April 1, 2010.
The process for parcel splits may be found under Process for Parcel Splits.
